Ingredients

  • 8 pieces Egg
  • 60 ml Milk
  • 2 tbsp Chives
  • 2 tbsp Parsley
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper

Preparation

  1. Cut the chives into fine rings and quickly chop the parsley leaves with a sharp knife.
  2. Crack the 8 eggs into a bowl, add the milk, salt, and pepper, and whisk everything together with a fork.
  3. Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat and pour in the egg mixture along with the herbs.
  4. Gently push the setting edges inward and cook the omelet for about 4 minutes until the egg mixture is completely set. Carefully fold it and divide it into 4 portions.

How it tastes

Fresh eggs form the golden base, staying especially moist and wonderfully tender on the tongue thanks to a small splash of milk. Herbs bring freshness. Olive oil provides a warm aroma during gentle cooking, blending harmoniously with the chives and parsley. It smells wonderful.

A good fit when …

It needs to be quick, but you want something warm on the table.
